Cheerleading

The purpose of cheerleading is to promote and uphold school spirit, support and encourage all school teams, develop a sense of good sportsmanship among students, improve student morale, build better relationships between competing schools, be ambassadors to the community, and establish high personal ideals and good character expected of a high school cheerleader to be a role model for peers and younger children in the Comfort School District community.

Membership and participation provide opportunities for successful personal growth, physical fitness, citizenship, leadership, life-long learning, and performance experience.

The Comfort High School Cheerleader Guidelines have been developed to provide procedures and standards for the high school cheer program. The information provided explains the qualifications and responsibilities of high school cheerleaders. All students and parents are responsible for familiarizing themselves with the contents and must complete and return the required forms according to the deadlines communicated.
